My name is John D (JD) Alam and I've always loved putting art to film, whether it be motion film or still photos. Even in high school I was the kid who always had the camera. Growing up, the entertainment industry was intertwined in my life. I was in a moderately successful band with my brothers. When we disbanded, I looked for something new. I took the things that I loved about being in the band, writing, interviews, and making videos, and turned it into its own project. I then enrolled into Full Sail University and got a degree in Digital Cinematography with a minor in Photography.
Since then I've worked in many different areas, with photography being a key skill companies have utilized me for. Outside of my day job I've done work for things like private events (weddings, family shoots, corporate parties), Chick-fil-A, Sticky's, Wonder Foods, and other small businesses. My work has been featured in tapinto.net and The Aquarian Weekly. My work has been in printed media, on billboards, and in various types of advertising.
I have a lot of goals in photo/video that I'd like to hit soon, but in the end, for me, it's all about telling a great story!
